A Big Welcome To Celtic Cross Country On Uplift Radio
Joe and I have been presenting this show for four weeks now and are thoroughly enjoying it. Although the music may seem limited – Scottish, Irish Country and Gospel – it really isn’t. We stray from genre to genre with gay abandon and a good bit of fun and gossip. If you like your music with a touch of the Irish and the Scottish, if you want a bit of a lift on a Saturday and/or Sunday, you must tune in and hear this show.
What’s in it? We both choose a song outwith our programme genres ‘Beyond the Pale’, ‘What’s The Link’ keeps you guessing as to song links, our ‘Gospel Moment’ is self explanatory, and ‘One Of Me Own’ is just that – Joe and I sing one of our songs on the programme. This week Joe’s song is ‘Adrienn’, mine ‘Have You Ever Been Lonely’.
Oh, and there’s the competition – small prizes but good fun. This week ‘Everyone Stops for Tea’ (even in Scotland and Ireland), but who’s singing?
When’s it on? Saturdays at 2pm & 10pm, Sundays at 4pm.
There’s a mighty welcome awaiting you. You’ll feel you’ve been hugged!
