Breathe A Sigh Of Relief With Uplift Radio!
This year you can breathe a sigh of relief – we’re not going overboard with Christmas.
All your favourite programmes and DJs will be around at the same time and place – if your favourite presenter chooses some Christmas favourites all good and well – that’s up to them. You won’t however get that Christmas afternoon ‘stuffed’ feeling this year on our station.
Some notable exceptions are:
Mon 18 – Tues 26 (inc.)
4-6am: Catch The Dawn. Our early birds can start the day with that ‘Christmas’ feeling
4pm: ‘Transitions’ becomes ‘Christmas Mix’
Christmas Day
4am & 10pm: Brian Fowler’s Christmas Music Programme with special thoughts for the day, is something not to be missed.
9am – DJ Sophia hosts a special Christmas Childrens’ Favourites – something for all the family
4pm – The Jim Reeves 1958 Christmas Radio Show – heartwarming music and banter to make your Christmas go with a swing!
New Year’s Day
9am: The Tony Allen Show. A young Don Treader and Laurie Donaldson in a show they recorded in 1971
2-5pm: Don Treader visits and interviews guests at Windermere Manor in ‘Down Your Way’.

Christmas is a special time of year, filled with meaning. The importance and enjoyment of it can be lost by overdosing, so can we encourage you to dip into our station at times and enjoy a balanced diet which we believe will add to your greater appreciation of the event. That’s what ‘Uplift’ is all about!
