Change To Uplift Radio’s Schedule
Glad to tell you of a few changes this June on Uplift Radio. Apart from a new look to promos and some jingles there’s some changes to the schedule, and three new programmes you might be interested in.
The main schedule pchanges are on Sundays. The ‘Go On’ Christian Magazine Show changes it’s 9am slot to 7am, but continues at 9pm as usual. Our Uplift Christian Fellowship Christian Programming now becomes a 2 hour slot between 7 and 9am and is repeated between 8 and 10pm, and thus necessitates the changed AM time for ‘Go On’. This week’s Go On Show is presented by Joe Bollard and Don Treader and focuses on issues around the UK election amongst other things. Is it always right to ridicule the leaders?
Another change in this area is one that affects UCF Today, our informal Service from unusual locations. It has a new look and contains inspiring songs and short encouraging words. It is still linked to ‘Lift Up Your Hearts’ a programme of contemporary Christian music interlaced with inspiring Bible Texts. This hour goes out at 8am, 11am and8pm on Sundays, but now also can be heard on Thursdays at 9am & 7pm. We’re also launching a TeamTalk chat room for those who wish to discuss the programme further and this will take place at 8pm after the Thursday airing. More on this will be announced soon. (Remember UCF Today is the second half of the hour.)
Also the repeat of the ‘Go On’ show will go out on Tuesday’s at 9am & 7pm instead of its current Friday slot.
Because of these weekday changes we’re starting 3 new entertainment programmes. They are as follows:
* Mondays at 9am & 7pm – Now 21 – 21st Century Gold. A blend of recent hits since the year 2000 brought to you by our Uplift Juke Box.
* Wednesdays at 9am & 7pm – Now Classics – Classical Gold. Superb music of the classical ilk with a pension for lifting spirits.
* Fridays at 9am & 7pm – Now 20 – 20th Century Gold. Our Uplift Juke Box enjoys its natural era by playing you Number Ones from the 1950s to the 1990s.
