Saturdays On Uplift – The Only Way Is Up . . . And Music
So many good things today for your enjoyment.
* There’s a new ‘Nostalgia Moments’ programme from Don Treader (me), kicking down Memory Lane with some of the classic songs from some of the greats. Worth a listen.
Sat at 4pm, Sun at 2pm.
* Joe and Don get together again for Scottish, Irish and a bit of country in ‘Celtic Cross Country’. They also slip out of genre sometimes . . . and would you believe it, they sing on the programme too! You’ll have to listen to this!
Sat at 2pm, Sun at 4pm
* Brian Fowler brings you a great new show this weekend. All genrres are picked on by him.
He even has a great interview with nnew talent ‘Blueflint’.
Sat at 6pm, Sun at 12 noon
* Uplift Theatre ends its long stint tonight of the amazing end of the world dramatic series ‘Left Behind’. It dares to suggest what it might be like when Jesus returns. Captivating listening – even if you’ve missed the rest! It prepares the way for the equally gripping ‘Kids Left Behind’ – the same major world events but dealt with this time by the younger generation. (For Kids and adults alike)
Omnibus edition – Sat 8pm
(Sun at 7am sees an extra special ‘Hour of Power’. It’s a celebration of its founder, Dr Robert H Schuller who passed away on April 2nd.)
That’s all for now, but watch this space for more uplifting programmes coming your way.
